At The Plot With the Hubby.
It was the last few days of the half term week and i was desperate to get down the plot with the husband.
Both the boys wanted to go round Nannies so the husband and i took the opportunity to get some time in at the plot.
We made good use of the time and manages to sow spinach, cauliflower and basil in the polytunnel. I sowed some hardy broad beans in to the ground and the husband manage to plant the garlic, I even found the time to plant 3 more fruit bushes and weed over a few of the beds. Half Term Week
Hurahhh its finally half term, I was hoping to get down the plot for a few days this week but my youngest is ill so we will have to make do with sorting seeds out at home and sowing with my eldest.
We ran out of board bean seed after sowing all of them last year so we ordered some from Seed Parade. Joey and I enjoyed receiving these in the post. There is something about seeds that most of us gardeners love from the sound they make in the packet to seeing them come to life.
I also got chance to relax one evening with a glass of red once the boys were in bed to sow my chillies. I didn't have much luck last year. I think it was something to do with not enough heat and the pots been too small but I will try again this year.
